Genevieve C. Cushing, born November 2, 1914, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the age of 102.  Genevieve was a resident of Owosso most of her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Owosso since April 2, 1925.  She retired from Pleasant View in Corunna in 1978.

Genevieve is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Laura (Ackron) Cushing and her sisters: Neta D. Pattengill and Mary Ellen Alden.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 26, 2017 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso.  Rev. Calvin Long will officiate with burial following in Oakhill Cemetery, Owosso. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-6 pm.
