Marion Lenore Baker, age 85 of Owosso, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm to 8pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10am until the time of service. She will later be interred at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw.

Marion was born December 13, 1931 in Twin Lake, Michigan; the daughter of Chester E. and Inez C. (Dolph) Engstrom. She attended North Muskegon High School and graduated in the class of 1950.

She married Leopold "Leo" Baker on January 17, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Marion was a member of the First United Methodist Church where whe was a UMW and UGLI Quilts member. She was also a Respite and Hospice Volunteer.  She was a secretary at Corunna High School for many years.

Marion is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years Leo; daughters Merri Ann Baker (John Radcliffe) of Lake, MI, Donna L. (John) Jenkins of Fremont, IN and Carol L. (Larry) Neeper of Lake, MI; grandchildren Kerry Radcliffe (JJ Thorp), Michele Radcliffe, Elise (Brent) Pottinger, John (BJ) Jenkins, Olivia (Justin) Biggs, Karla(Greg) Dyer, Aaron Neeper and Allison (Gary) Blodgett; great-great grandchildren Mia, Zoe, Eli, Ariel, Sophia, Rowan, Jenner, Roman, Brooke (Taylor) Wells, Alex, Cooper and Brianna; sister Julie (Mark) Austin of Hopkins, MI; sister-in-law Jane Baker; brother-in-law Richard Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, and her family at First United Methodist Church of Owosso.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to First United Methodist Church of Owosso or the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
