Helen I. Hill, age 93 of Okemos, formerly of Owosso, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing.   Born August 26, 1922 to the late Alex and Marie Eurick. Married George E. Hill on May 31, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. 

Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Owosso, served as a member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a volunteer of Memorial Hospital for twenty two years, mentored in the Hosts Program at Bryant Elementary for 11 years and Emerson Elementary for 9 years. Helen loved spending time with family, traveling, cruising and many hours at a bridge table as she was an avid bridge player. 

Survived by son George Jr. (Pamela) Hill, daughter Linda (James) Schuon, grandchildren Jennifer (Carl) Beard, Scott Lokker, Rebecca (Lukas) Enciso, Kathryn Schuon, great granddaughters Jasmine Beard, Emma Enciso, twin great granddaughters Hannah and Ava Enciso, and many nieces and nephews. 

Helen was preceded in death by her husband George in 1990, sisters Marie (Frank) Bradley, Dorothy (James) Butler, Margaret (John) Socia and brothers Walter (Josephine) Eurick, Otto (June) Eurick, Carl (Dorothy) Eurick, Harold (Joan) Eurick, daughter-in-law Carolyn Hill. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso.  Rev. Calvin Long will be officiating with final rest in the Mausoleum in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 3-5 & 6-8 p.m.
