Paul Richard Temple, age 83 of Owosso passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.

Memorial services will be held 2pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Cal Long officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1pm until the time of service.

Paul was born September 20, 1932 in Detroit, the son of Glen Otis and Ruth Temple.

He was a member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. and attended the First United Methodist Church for several years.

Paul proudly served in the Michigan National Guard and United States Marine Corp.

He married Paula Mae Lucero in St. Clair, on July 11, 1977.

Paul was employed through the years at Midland Ross, Olds Forge and the Department of Corrections.

He is survived by his wife Paula; children Bruce (Linda) Temple, Leon (Vilma) Temple, David (Elaine) Temple, Lorelei (Frank) Ceja, Beverly (Shaaban) Naim, Ben (Brenda) Temple, Robert (Jeri) Padar, Derrick (Lixin Li) Padar, Tonya (Dan) Downing, MercyTemple and Melody Temple (fiance Michael Edington); several grandchildren; many other loving family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County, First United Methodist Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Children's Hope International.
