Ruby E. Raeside, age 90 of Owosso, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Sugarbush Manor in Flint.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. On Friday, June 10, 2016 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m.

Ruby was born on December 15, 1925 in Randolph, Nebraska to the late Frank and Myrtle (Fox) Cunningham.  On May 31, 1947 Ruby married Paul Raeside in Iowa and together they raised two daughters.  Paul later passed on December 11, 1998.

Mrs. Raeside was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Owosso before moving to Grand Blanc to be closer to her daughter.  She then joined the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women.  Her family and her church were her life and Ruby loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Rhonda (Walter) Hayes of Grand Blanc and Denise Raeside of New Jersey; 3 grandchildren: Laura (Jeremy) Hobson, Andrew Paul Hayes, Ashley (Ryan) Parker; 5 great grandchildren: Keegan Hobson, Gavin Paul Hayes, Havyn Hobson, Braylen Hobson and Kaleb Hayes.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; brothers: Lyle (Henrietta) Cunningham and Dallas Cunningham.
